About us

Taoveda Dimensions NGO is a non-profit organization founded in 2018 by Dr. Vibhu Aggarwal, a dedicated Ayurvedic Practitioner with a deep passion for nature and sustainability. Inspired by the principles of Ayurveda that emphasize living in harmony with nature, Dr. Aggarwal initiated Taoveda Dimensions to address critical environmental challenges while empowering communities to create a sustainable future.

While Dr. Aggarwal laid the foundation with his visionary ideas, the on-ground implementation of this vision is now being carried forward by Nakul, Deepika, Ashwani, and many other committed volunteers and members of the NGO. Their collective efforts ensure that the initiatives are not just planned but actively executed, creating meaningful change in communities and the environment.

Our Mission

Our mission is to protect Air, Water, and Soilβ€”the three essential elements of lifeβ€”through community-driven efforts, sustainable practices, and innovative solutions. We aim to foster a world where nature thrives, communities are uplifted, and every individual is inspired to be an agent of positive change.

The Journey of Taoveda Dimensions

Taoveda Dimensions began its journey with a simple yet impactful initiative: tree plantation and spreading awareness about the harmful effects of plastic on life. By promoting the use of biodegradable products and advocating for sustainable living practices, the organization took its first steps toward addressing environmental degradation and improving community well-being. Over time, it has grown into a multi-dimensional organization, actively working across five key areas, each focusing on a vital aspect of environmental and social welfare.

How We Work:
Our 5 Dimensions of Impact

🌳 Mass Tree Plantation

Trees are fundamental to restoring ecological balance, and our NGO has prioritized reforestation since its inception. We conduct plantation drives in schools, colleges, universities, and unused land across the region. In 2024, we introduced the Miyawaki Forest Technique, a cutting-edge method for creating dense forests that grow 10 times faster than conventional methods, promoting biodiversity and combating climate change.

πŸ’ͺ Women Empowerment

Uplifting women is at the heart of our mission. We collect pre-loved clothes from donors, which are then upcycled by women into reusable cloth bags. This initiative not only helps reduce waste but also provides women with essential skill-building opportunities and financial support. To further support their livelihoods, we offer small stipends, empowering them to achieve economic independence while contributing to environmental sustainability.

♻️ Waste Management (Plastic Bank)

Plastic waste is a growing threat to our environment, particularly to rivers like the Ganga and Soil. To combat this, we established a Plastic Bank in Rishikesh. Here, we collect clean plastic waste directly from households and send it to MRF (Material Recovery Facility) centers for proper recycling. This initiative encourages source segregation at the household level, prevents plastic pollution in the Ganga, and promotes the responsible disposal of waste, contributing to a cleaner environment.

πŸ—£οΈ Public Awareness

Awareness is the first step toward change. Through workshops, campaigns, and educational programs, we engage with communities to spread knowledge about critical issues like waste management, source segregation, and sustainable living practices. By empowering individuals with knowledge, we create a ripple effect of change that extends far beyond the immediate community.

🌿 Nature Walks

Connecting with nature is essential for fostering environmental responsibility. Our Nature Walks take volunteers to herbal gardens and on hiking trails, offering them hands-on experiences that demonstrate the importance of sustainable travel and civic sense. These walks are designed to educate participants on protecting the environment while traveling and to foster a deep connection with nature. The primary goal is to make people more sensitive and aware of the urgent need to preserve natural resources.
